Session Costs

The cost per session will be $63.00 for each five hour session for ongoing bookings.

Casual bookings are $75 per session


North Balwyn Playcentre is an “Approved Care”provider and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will be deducted from term fees for all eligible families.

Term Fee invoices are issued at the end of each term for sessions booked for the following term. Fees for the following term are due prior to the commencement of care. Please refer to our Fees Policy for further details.

Annual Membership Fee

All families are required to be members of North Balwyn Playcentre Incorporated to use the centre. This cost is per family and is non-refundable, even if you cease using the centre at any stage throughout the year.

Fundraising Levy

In order to minimise the amount of fundraising carried out each year, a non-refundable fundraising levy of $30 per term will be applied to each family’s account for terms 2, 3 and 4. Please refer to the centre parent information booklet for further details.

Application Fee

  • An  application fee is payable when enrolling your child at the commencement of each year. This fee is the equivalent of two sessions of care per day booked.  (Therefore if your child will be attending for 2 sessions your application fee will be 2 x $126.00 = $252.00 etc.)

  • This application fee will be deducted from your first term fees invoice

  • This application fee is not refundable, unless there is no place available on day/s requested.

  • Applications will be accepted, and enrolments made, in order of date received.

  • Please note: No enrolment will be processed until the application fee has been paid.
